Our clinicians have appointments available within 7 days.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Indiana, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).  I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University and my Bachelors in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Indiana University - Bloomington.

I believe that people inherently have the tools to lead successful, fulfilling lives, but those tools are at times temporarily inaccessible due to emotional, situational, and cognitive influences.  My goal is to lead you through the process of identifying such influences and working diligently to overcome them.

I have over a decade of experience working in private practice, community mental health, secured residential, and correctional settings. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle to cope with the intensity of their emotions such as depression, anxiety, and anger. Often, these emotions can lead to behavioral and situational difficulties including substance use, self-harm, suicidal ideation, aggression, family conflict, and professional stress. I also have experience working with individuals struggling to overcome the effects that traumatic experiences have had on their lives.

At times it may feel as if you are alone in coping with your emotional struggles or in seeking support for those you love. I invite you to allow me to embark on the road to recovery and a life worth living with you. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology as well as a Masters degree in Social Work from Florida State University. My passion for helping people has always been something that was and is a part of me. I know that may sound cliche because many people in the field say this, however, helping others runs in my family. My Mom received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling and currently works with children doing therapy. She is also currently pursuing a PhD in Human Behavior. She confirmed that passion within me that I knew I had and I am glad that I followed it. I have had fulfilling experiences within the field thus far and am excited to continue this journey with you!

I have experience working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management, substance abuse, trauma, grief, self-esteem, and suicidal ideation. I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in various settings including community mental health centers and agencies. I have been in the field long enough to really be able to develop my own style and take a genuine, collaborative therapeutic and non-judgmental approach to any client I’ve had the opportunity to help.

My goal is to help others reach their best potential to lead a life that they want to live. There are many obstacles that face us everyday and it is not always easy taking them on alone. Everyone needs help and I believe that the first step is realizing that we all need help sometimes and that’s okay. There’s a strength and a courage that I believe is present when we take that step to seek help.

I am elated to begin this journey with you and work together to achieve a life worth living.

I obtained my Master of Arts degree in Counseling: Art Therapy from Adler University and hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts. I use an integrative approach to therapy that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), art therapy, and expressive techniques to meet the individual needs of each client. Through therapy, I can assist individuals to address patterns of anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and other stress-related issues. I have worked with culturally diverse individuals of all ages, while specializing in work with emerging adults.

My goal is to help individuals increase self-awareness and develop concrete tools to improve emotional wellness that will help them reach their goals. I encourage therapy to be a space where one can explore feelings, process thoughts, and identify personal strengths.

Whatever season you find yourself in, I am here to walk with you in the context of a nonjudgmental, warm, empathic, and collaborative space.
